NHS Nottinghamshire and Nottinghamshire County Council are working together.
NHS Nottinghamshire County also works closely with NHS Nottingham City to improve the health of people with learning disabilities, both through the joint Better Health group and undertaking pieces of work together, such as the Health Needs Assessment.
Nottinghamshire is home to 660,000 people. Roughly 15,600 are non-white.
We estimate there are 12,600 adults there with learning disabilities. 2,600 have severe learning disabilities and 200 have profound / multiple disabilities.

Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City Learning disability Partnership Boards have a Better Health Group which will be involved. It has a list of things for better health for people with learning disability in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham.
Nottinghamshire and Nottingham have done a Health Needs Assessment. They talked about it on the 30th November. The presentation, Health Needs Assessment and Executive Summary are attached.
