Improving Health and Lives has an advisory group of self-advocates and family carers from the Eastern Region. The group includes regional representatives who either sit on, or report to the National Forum and the National Valuing Families Forum. Two members of the group did presentations at one of our events. For more information about the group see terms of reference and the meeting notes.

The final report of the confidential inquiry into the premature deaths of people with learning disabilities has been published.
This report contains a number of examples of reasonable adjustments to improve access to diabetes services.
CIPOLD is the Confidential Inquiry into premature deaths of people with learning disabilities.
CIPOLD is funded by the Department of Health. We aim to improve the health and well-being of people with learning disabilities by carrying out an inquiry into their death.
