NHS England conference - Better health for people with learning disabilities

20th June 2017 The Oval, London

This conference is for all people interested in better health and better lives for people with learning disabilities. This includes commissioners of learning disabilities and mainstream health and social care services, health and social care practitioners including public health, people with learning disabilities and families. The conference will include lots of practical ideas and examples that you can take away and use locally.

Confirmed key note speakers: Jane Cummings, Chief Nursing Officer NHS England, Chris Hatton, Richard Jeffery and Lucy Brockbank, Dr. Angela Donkin, Kirsten Lamb, with a performance by The Misfits and many more workshop presenters.

Better health for people with learning disabilities will give you the latest information on how NHS England and partners are working to make lives better for people with learning disabilities. Our partnership organisations will show how we can all work together better to improve health, wellbeing and safety for and with people who have learning disabilities and their families.
