Prevalence of ASD in Eight Year Old American Children

A new report from the US by the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention has estimated that 11.3 per 1,000 (one in 88) eight year old children had Autistic Spectrum Disorders in 2008. Of these, 38% also has learning disabilities.
