Almost 5 out of 10 adults with learning disabilities received a health check in 2010/11.
There were, however, big differences between areas. In 2010/11 the bottom 10% of PCTs provided health checks for fewer than 25% of people with learning disabilities. In contrast the top 10% of PCTs provided health checks for 70% or more of identified people with learning disabilities.
