Partnership Board Report Instructions 2011
Following the success of the Valuing People Now summary report, which drew on information from Learning Disability Partnership board reports for 2009/10, Partnership Boards have been invited to submit a further annual report covering the period April 2010 to March 2011.
Detail of the format for these reports was given in a template sent by Anne Williams, National Director for Learning Disabilities, to all Partnership Boards on 6th April 2011. This year the arrangements for collating, summarising and publishing these reports are different. Anne Williams' letter asks Partnership Boards to send their finished reports to the Learning Disabilities Observatory. The Observatory will be collating and publishing:
- the full reports,
- statistical extracts from them, and
- a report on the themes found in them.
Full details of the request for reports is set out in Anne Williams' letter and the accompanying template (a Word file). You can find both of these at the bottom of this page.
We have been asked a number of questions to clarify issues arising in the template. Our Q and A page shows all the answers we have given.
Further clarification of several questions, and indication of corresponding data sources, was provided by the Learning Disability Programme group in the Social Care, Local Government and Care Partnerships Directorate at the Department of Health in response to a number of questions from Croydon LA on 23rd June. In one respect this differs from the guidance we gave some weeks ago in that it indicates that the scope of the section on housing (section 3) should be restricted to people aged 18 to 64. In practice, as the questions ask for percentages, this is unlikely to make a large difference numerically. It would be helpful if Partnership Boards could indicate which they have given.
