Derbyshire have developed an audit (check) about services being equal and fair for people with learning disability and other disabilities.

Progress notes: Derbyshire include in contracts (buying agreements) 3 areas of development (to get better) for adult safeguarding. Derbyshire have a healthcare provider adult safeguarding board. Derbyshire are going to do an audit (check) about staff understanding of Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty.

Progress notes: Derbyshire have developed a transitions care pathway (a plan that lots of people agree to and says what should happen, when and by who) for children coming into adult services. A Health Needs Assessment about people with learning disability who have an autistic spectrum condition has been done. Staff have been trained to diagnose autistic spectrum conditions so that people don't have to travel out of Derbyshire for this.
